Michael Tunison is a blogger, author and freelance writer. Among the umpteen blogs he has written for include Kissing Suzy Kolber, With Leather, Deadspin, ProFootballTalk, Shutdown Corner and SportsbyBrooks. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a BA in journalism, a degree which is now worth a whole lot of nothing as no newspaper will probably ever hire him after his much-publicized canning by The Washington Post last year. However, two professors at the J-school asked him to come lecture to students about blogging this April, which is flattering but also makes him feel kind of old. His first book, “The Football Manifesto,” is due out in August and you should probably purchase at least three dozen copies.
