In 2007 Kenneth Fuchs returned to the Sports Illustrated Franchise as a Vice President, General Manager for SI Digital. In this role Fuchs oversees the day-to-day management and long-term strategy for GOLF.com and FanNation.com, as well as managing SI’s fantasy sports and social media business extensions. As a member of the Sports Illustrated executive team, Fuchs also works with management to determine company’s overall digital strategy, including review and implementation of various investment and acquisition opportunities.
Fuchs came back to SI after spending two years at Fox Interactive Media where he was VP, Strategy and Development for Fox Interactive Media and part of the executive management team overseeing the FIM digital network, including MySpace.com, the IGN Network, Foxsports.com, Fox.com, AmericanIdol.com and Scout.com.
From 1999 until 2005, Fuchs worked as the Director, Business Development for SI Digital. He managed all business development, audience development and business operations for SI Digital including SI.com and SI Mobile. In 2004, as part of the digital team Fuchs received Time Inc.’s President’s Award.
Prior to joining SI in 1999, Fuchs worked at Winston & Strawn as a corporate and transactional attorney in Chicago. Fuchs managed transactions for a variety of companies in M&A, equity and debt offerings, credit facilities and securitizations.
Fuchs graduated from Northwestern University in ’93 with B.A. degrees in Political Science and History. He earned his law degree from UCLA School of Law in ’96.
Born in New York and raised in Chicago, Fuchs currently resides in Park Slope, Brooklyn with his wife and two children.
