Dan has spent the last fifteen years pushing the boundaries of consumer media and entertainment. Prior to Bleacher Report, Dan was CEO of Sparter Inc., a pioneering platform for peer-to-peer trading of digital items. As an executive with The Walt Disney Company Dan realigned Disney’s global publishing operations, helped develop the business plan for ESPN The Magazine, and put in place the strategic relationship with Square-Enix that created the ground-breaking Kingdom Hearts franchise. As senior vice president at video game publisher THQ, he managed global business development activities, including product acquisition, corporate M&A and new ventures. Dan was president of marketing and distribution for the award-winning television production company Cartoon Pizza, a Walt Disney Co. spin-off. Dan earned his Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Economics from Vanderbilt University and his Master of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
