Jeff Pyatt, the managing editor of RealClearSports, began his career believing that there was no place he’d rather work than Capitol Hill. But after four months of actually working there, he realized he’d rather be anywhere else. In 2006, he left the Hill to work as the Press Secretary for Jim Webb’s winning Senate campaign in Virginia. After the campaign, he jumped on with RealClearPolitics, the website that had been his homepage since 2002 and moved to Bangkok. Upon returning stateside six months later, he hired a few of his closest friends with whom he co-founded RealClearSports.
