Jarett Myer was born and bred in New York City, where he spent the late 90′s sitting courtside to a hip hop revolution led by Mos Def, Common, Talib Kweli and others. Figuring how different could bloggers and rappers be (tempers, stubborn, blinged out, etc..), he co-founded UPROXX, a destination for bloggers focused on music, sports, and entertainment.
