Last week just prior to St. Patrick’s Day and the onset of the NCAA Tournament, Bill Walton was promoting drinking Guinness, following your dreams, and taking a day off from work to enjoy the festivities.

As a former analyst and sometimes media member, we asked Bill his thoughts on social media.

Off camera, he credited social media, Twitter, bloggers in inciting the Democratic uprisings in the Middle East. On camera, he mentioned how fantastic it is with him being a big fan of “participation” and the shift to where “everybody’s in the game now…” from what was once from “one to many” to what is now “many to many.”

Of course, no Walton story would be complete without a few of his life lessons and some of his memories of John Wooden.
